Wetransfer is a free file transfer website that anyone can use, when transferring files up to 2GB. We recommend using wetransfer if the attachments that you will be sending, will exceed 50mb (maximum size of mail sent / received) in size. You also need to consider the allowed mail receiving size of the recipient. Depending on how their mail is set up, others can only receive 15mb, anything exceeding that will make the email bounce back to the sender. In using wetransfer, the file is sent / received via fie transfer and not via email.

here is a quick guide on how to use Wetransfer

Open a browser and go to https://wetransfer.com/

Fill out the necessary fields on the box on the left side of the screen, as shown below

Upload your files. You may upload multiple files or folders not exceeding to 2GB in total size. Click the "Upload Files" button as show below

After filling out necessary details and uploading the file/s that you need, you can now click the "Transfer" button

You will see this message on the box as shown below, informing you that you will receive a 6 digit confirmation code in your email. Check your email and input the code that you received and click "Verify" button.

*important: in some cases the confirmation code email goes to the junk / spam folder, be sure to check the junk / spam folders for the code.

After that, you will receive an email that the files are already transferred. The recipient will also receive an email with the wetransfer link to download the files that you transferred. Files that are not yet downloaded will remain in the wetransfer site for 5 days and will expire after that.
