Giving customers access to 3CX Chat, Phone & Web Conferencing
You may have heard us raving about these features but one of the really cool features of 3CX (our cloud and on-premise) phone system, is the ability for your customers to LiveChat, make phone calls and web conference you directly.
Unlike other VoIP phone systems, this feature does not require any software or plugins to be installed on the customers end. The only requirement, is they need to be using Mozilla FireFox or Google Chrome as the internet web browser.
This functionality is included with all Professional and Enterprise phone systems standard.
HOW IT WORKS?
STEP # 1: GIVE YOUR CUSTOMER YOUR PERSONALISED LINK.
Well its simple, you provide link below (this is mine: https://vcloudgroup.3cx.com.au/callus#trevormifsud) and they will be presented with this in the internet web browser.
Get them to fill in their name in the name field and email address in the email field then press “Start Chat” button.
STEP # 2: TYPE YOUR MESSAGE OR MAKE A PHONE CALL.
At this point your customer should message you first. They will see this in their internet web browser:
You will see this on your 3CX Windows Application:
You can also initiate a phone call directly from your internet web browser and talk via your handset, the 3CX software app, or your virtual desktop if you are in the cloud using the following buttons:
